Free Web Email Service
Though all providers of free web email service would like for you to upgrade to their more comprehensive packages with a monthly fee, you can still obtain completely free web email service to promote your club.
- Yahoo: http://mail.yahoo.com/
- Click on "Sign up now". (Found towards bottom of page.)
- On the left under "Free Yahoo Mail", click on "Sign up now".
- This is the difficult part.
- Fill in the form without forgetting what you entered.
- Your Yahoo Id must be ONE WORD long! Your Yahoo Password must be ONE WORD long!
- Do not use spaces. Do not use upper case.
- Pick something YOU will have no trouble remembering.
- Bad Yahoo Id (John Smith of Sacramento; has spaces, upper case, too long, more than one word).
- Better Yahoo Id (jsmith1945; boring, but computer friendly.)

You can also often obtain free web email service from most of the search engines, many of the larger internet businesses, your ISP, some national sports team, some radio, and some television stations. The opposite of web email is POP3 email. POP3 email holds your email at your ISP and not a third party.
